My good friend M contacted me over the summer and said that she was going to start home schooling her daughter this year. It was welcomed news since were also starting home school for Amelia this year. We decided that we would get together once a week to do a
lesson on the natural world and take turns teaching the lesson. One more home schooling family joins us so we have a nice little group and we mom's teach every third week.
This week we went to Thanksgiving Point's Discovery Garden (when the weather was still nice.) We mostly had the place to ourselves, which made it much easier to watch after the kids.

We have had such a great time doing these lessons and strengthening friendships while we teach and learn together. I get to teach next weeks lesson.
